Theatre of the Mind – TWO (A Short Film by Satyajit Ray)

Theatre of the Mind is a community for movie enthusiasts. We will be screening short films which will be followed by an open discussion on the thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences evoked in the process. We also plan to discuss feature films and explore the emerging themes. The idea is to start a dialogue on the impact of cinema on our psyche and everyday lives. The space will be held once a month on a Sunday, and it will be free and open to all.
THIS MONTH: ‘Two’ is a short film directed by Satyajit Ray in 1964. The story looks at two boys from rather opposing sections of the society, tugged in a war of toys and musical instruments, portraying the bigger realities, all being communicated through a house window.
