This webinar will serve as an introduction to developing a trauma-informed lens for mental health care and psychotherapy. You will learn about the impact of trauma and the complex mental health needs of individuals, families, and communities in a culturally competent and evidence-based manner. We will also talk about vicarious trauma in mental health professionals.

About the facilitators

Hena Faqurudheen

Hena Faqurudheen is a psychotherapist at HNI’s Kairos (Delhi unit). Her desire to help build socially just and transformative communities led her into trauma work and mental health. She has worked with individuals, families, and communities in post-disaster settings, clinical spaces, and community mental health settings since 2009.
