This webinar is an introduction to developing a trauma-informed lens for mental health care and psychotherapy. It will cover understanding the impacts of trauma, working with complex mental health needs of individuals, groups, and communities, and managing vicarious trauma in mental health care practice. Practitioners are invited to submit case vignettes for group discussion in each session, as well as creative pieces to co-create a reflective journal for the group by the end of the webinar.
This is an online course spanning 10 hours (5 sessions).

About the facilitator
Hena Faqurudheen
Hena is a psychotherapist at HNI’s Kairos (Delhi unit). Her desire to help build socially just and transformative communities led her into trauma work and mental health. She has worked with individuals, families, and communities in post-disaster settings, clinical spaces, and community mental health settings since 2009.
